30 AMP OPS

Leroy, I have the same problem and I think the 30 single pole should
charge the batteries. I wondered what leg the original chargers were
hooked up to. My charges are after-market and the remote location
has a receptacle that shares the leg only supplied by 50 amps. I
plan on adding or moving the C breaker for the charger receptacle to
the 110 leg that get power on both 30 and 50. For now what I do is
plug the chargers into an extension cord that I then plug into a
working receptacle in the bay. If every thing is on the other Leg
you could simply switch legs at the breaker box input.

'Hotwater heaters' and 'chargers' are automatic on and off and it is
hard to regulate your draw on amps. If you have both units cycle on
at the same time, you may risk tripping a breaker (tripping is only
annoying, not a danger). It would be nice to have a Charger switch by
the HWheater switch. When you get back out to Riverside I have 50
amps waiting for you.
