Pete,

The thought never crossed my mind about using the 50 amp cord and just
adapting it down to 30 amps at the shore power connection. This would
work fine for me, the only disadvantage I can see is having to deal
with the heavier cord, which is fine with me. Thanks you saved me a lot
of work.
