It appears that he may have a waste system developed by General
Motors and put on the fitst GMC motorhomes in 1974. It is called a thermosan unit. There is a pump that takes a continuous small amount of waste out of the black tank and inserts it into the exhaust system. The system must be up to operating temperature and the coach driving at I believe 40MPH before it will work. I had one on my 1974 GMC motorhome (I also had a 1976 Palm Beach with it).
