Cat Oil filters
Thanks Bruce I guess I missed that post or it went over my head. Is that
the same # you use or do I have the right filter? 1R-0714 Don 89 SP 36' Butler, PA Don: I posted the answer to your question a few weeks ago. The old Cat filters were a real piece of engineering: one piece can, die cast threads, o ring, etc. Cat no longer makes their own filters for the 3208 and some other legacy engines. I examined the new filter and it sure looks like a Wix. Of course the price has not dropped!! Bruce 1988 FC35 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
