Simichrome worked.

Now I have all these good looking spots on the coach
and have to grunt to complete the job, that's WORK!

Kidding of course, it did work well, much better than
Mothers. The side trim which I understand is an oxide
finish, took a lot of the marks off. Looked like
raindrop outlines. Maybe acid rain?

I was doing some reading on the oxide process where
there is a coating above and below the original surface.
I don't want to go after this too aggresively, just
make it look better. Excelent on chrome, stainless,
polished aluminum. Expensive yet of value.

Thanks for the tip, Shining more by the spots.
