Simichrome is no good!
Bob:
Have you found any more shiny spots? Hey Leroy, I got my order today and as soon as I could started sampling here and there as to how well Simichrome worked. Now I have all these good looking spots on the coach and have to grunt to complete the job, that's WORK! Kidding of course, it did work well, much better than Mothers. The side trim which I understand is an oxide finish, took a lot of the marks off. Looked like raindrop outlines. Maybe acid rain? I was doing some reading on the oxide process where there is a coating above and below the original surface. I don't want to go after this too aggresively, just make it look better. Excelent on chrome, stainless, polished aluminum. Expensive yet of value. Thanks for the tip, Shining more by the spots. Bob Janes [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
