Generator and Battery charger problem
Could be they ARE related, here's how. The genset has
a tremdous load at start by the short not enough to trip the breaker but enough to keep from running. You need to isolate the chargers, disconnect, or whatever to get them out of the circuit. Starting a generator with a heavy load before it reached govenor speed is not good.
