Wide Body
Doug,
Wide bodies strted mid-1988. Check Vintage Birds website for model year specs. How important is quite subjective. On a PT40 it means 20 more square feet of floor space or approximately 130 cubic feet in breathing area. The first time we walked in a WB from our 96" it seemed like a cave. That was helped by the fact that many of the WB models don't have the front overhead stoarge compartments so they seem much more spacious. Moving from 96" to 102" felt more like a foot from the drivers seat, especially in constrcution zones with narrow lanes.
