air leak/vacuum generator leak
I investiagted my air leak a little more. It does appear to be the
vacuum generator mounted on the bottom of an air manifold behind the bumper. Air is coming out of the one of the fittings that has never had a hose on it. When I plug that fitting, the air must backfeed thru the cruise control vacuum system because it blows the hose off the vacuum canister on the engine. Do I need to replace the vacuum generator (if that is what it is)? If so, where would I purchase a replacement? Kerry Edwards 82 FC 35 Denver |
