Is a motor home a truck?
Sounds like you were hugging the left lane, very bad, very bad. I'm used to
cruising the center lane on 6 lane highways up north but I got a lot hate signals for doing that in GA. The truckers expect you to stay in the right lane if you aren't running 80. Think I'll spend more time on the two lanes. Any one have this happen to them. Going through Indy on interstate 465 towing my toad, was stopped by a county mounty. Got a $150.00 ticket for Indiana code IC-9-21-8-13 which reads as follows. Interstate highways consisting of at least three lanes;lane use restrictions for TRUCKS. Sec. 13. Except when entering or leaving a highway or where a special hazard exists that requires, for sfety reasons, the use of an alternate lane, a person may not operate a TRUCK, TRUCK TRACTOR, ROAD TRACTOR, TRAILER, SEMITRAILER, OR POLE TRAILER on an interstate highway consisting of a least three (3) lanes in one (1) direction in any lane other than the two (2) far reight lanes. As added by P.L.2-1991, SEC.9 My question is, is a motor home a truck, can not find the definition of a motor home in the Indiana Law book. Ticket says if I do not contest it and send in my $150.00 the offence will not be reported to the DMV Elmer in Sebring FL 86 PT 38 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
