Retarder braking control lever

Retarder braking control lever
My 82 has an aftermarket retarder with the lever in a similar position.
However, the lever
is much smaller and lighter. The downside of that location is that a couple of
times I have
engaged the retarder unwittingly when putting on the left turn signal.
