EL Inverter Testing
Curt: Where did you buy that clamp on meter? That's what I need, May save me
a lot of time. Leroy Eckert 1990 WB-40 Niceville, FL ----- Original Message ----- From: Curt Sprenger To: wanderlodge@yahoogroups.com ; WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Sent: Sunday, September 24, 2006 3:53 PM Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] EL Inverter Testing There is 12VDC going to the upper dash EL inverter (only one inverter). Using a clamp-on meter, clamping round one inverter wire at a time, should I get ACV reading from at least one of the wires? I tried this and no ACV reading on the meter. Could the rheostat cause a no load condition to the inverter, and in turn cause the inverter to go bad? -- Curt Sprenger 1987 PT38 8V92, Anaheim Hills, Calif.
