I built a toy box trailer and had holding tanks built to my specs. The
big nut was spun to the tank (spinning created heat to milt the two
together). A fitting screwed into the big nut. Pipe, dump valves, etc.
were glued to the fitting.

My guess is the BIG NUT is glued to your tank. Is the pipe/fitting
threaded where it meets the big nut? If so, a strap wrench might grip
enough to turn the pipe. No threads would indicate the pipe/fitting is
glued to the big nut. In that case you would need to cut the pipe
leaving enough pipe to attach a coupling.
