DRAIMASTER FLUSH VALVES INSTALLED..........IT WAS EASY & FUN!
There are a number of diverse views on which are better for drain
lines PVC vs ABS (foam core) pipes and fittings. It appears the
consensus is that ABS is a little more impact resistant and stands
up a little better to freezing with "some" water in it as it can
flex a bit. In addition, PVC is very susceptible to sunlight UV
damage and can get brittle quite quickly when exposed as on and FC.
When I changed to Drainmaster valves, I used the ABS for these
reasons.
