Jay Darst Visit
hey Folks,

Well the '81 Blue Bird was on eBay for 7 days, 40 lookers, half a dozen
questions, on bid, obviously below my reserve. I am considering going to the
Bird Connection and listing it there.

On another note Peggy and I had a wonderful visit with Jay Darst on Thursday.
We had just purchased our second vehicle from him, and he towed it on his car
hauler to Cookville TN and we drove up from Ladson, it being about half way for
both of us. Just as we are unloading it, it started to rain and then hail, and
we could both see, the paint being stripped off the 03 Sonoma, the 06 Dodge
Caravan AND his Blue Bird. Fortunately it did not last long. What a guy. If
any of you are in the market for a vehicle, I surely would contact Jay. After
consumating the deal, we went to Ryan's and stuffed ourselves, they lost money
on us I am sure. I am now a 'soccer grand dad' in my 'soccer mom van' LOL.

I am going to be putting some Blue Bird items up on eBay and they will be
listed under Blue Bird. Thanks for your support in selling mine. I just hate
seeing it just sit, but at the same time I am NOT giving it away. It will
become my "Florida room" first...lol
