Supplemental breaking systems
Bob,
I just installed the SMI Silent Partner SmartBox, wireless communication between vehicles. I wanted a unit that stayed in place, nothing to hook up or take out before/after a trip. I haven't been out on the open road yet, but will be next week. Several forum members have one type or another of many SMI units available. They will chime in I'm sure. If I remember I'll report back after I have taken a short trip. Installing the unit was pretty much straight forward, nothing complicated. About 4 hours time...well more because the neighbors stop in to see what I'm up to and the talking adds to the time. Curt Sprenger 1987 PT38 8V92, Anaheim Hills, Calif.
