Maiden Voyage
It sounds like you did not unlock the steering. I always had a fear
of that, so when installing a new steering wheel on my Jeep, I
disabled the steering lock assembly.
Now, I dont worry about it, and since every other car has steering
locks, I figure a thief would assume mine does also.
