Company Picnic
We had our annual picnic for our local telecom group from our
company last week at a local park. I brought my Bluebird and set up
in the parking lot and ran tours. I had been talking about Bluebirds
for a year and now that I owned one, my friends wanted to see it.

Everyone was impressed with the layout and condition of the
interior. When I told them it was a 1978 they were amazed that it
was so well preserved. I simply explained that it was built to last
and was the cream of the crop back then and now as well.

Tonight one of my co-workers brought his girl friend by to see
it. On the tour he got hooked on Bluebirds and is just itching to
get one. Naturally I suggested he join the available forums and
familiarize himself with the ups and downs, but mostly with the ups.

There are a lot of real high quality units available, I just
suggested that he take his time and pick a winner.

I'm always ready to find a new convert. There is nothing like
driving a vintage Bird and seeing the look on peoples faces as you
pass by. Now if I can get the air horns working the kids at the side
of the road will be extatic!
