Engine Question
To all
I have my 91 WLSP 36 now for 11years. I just had a nasty fuel leak fixed. It was acrack in an injector fuel line, so naturally, fuel would spray all over the engine, yet it kept on running as if nothibg is wrong. Cat 3208 TA, a tough one indeed. Now my BIG Question: Has anyone ever dropped the Cat 3208 out of a Wanderlodge so that the engine could be worked on? Reason is, I have one small leak in the exhaust manifold gasket, and the Cat mechanic could not loosen the bolts at the exhaust. He said if they break off, we are in deep trouble. He would need to pull the head and then get the old bolts out etc. How much trouble and time would it be to just drop the engine and then have it worked over?
