FC Generator Compartment Walls
At the risk of getting a spirited debate going - after checking out
the Lizardskin web page, I can assure all that from a sound
control/attenuation standpoint .020"-.025" (their recommended
thickness for sound control) or any spray able thickness of this
stuff will not hold a candle to traditional composite sound
control/attenuation materials made by companies like Soundown or even
lesser materials like products sold by JC Whitney. No real data
presented only "Testimonials", most of their thickness measurements
have the decimal in the wrong place – however, the stuff MAY have
some value as a ceramic thermal insulation – would need more
data/study to comment further.
