FC Generator Compartment Walls
please provide spec sheets for this product and I will do the same
if you want the same composite you expound about it can be built. Soundown is nothing more than a marketing company to sell this product. Judging by their website they source and sell product in a value added fashion I am sure that you should post this on the forum instead of hiding it in a private off forum email. I stand behind all he product I sell and as stated before I sell for the cost of expenses to Bluebird Owners as a service not a livelihood And I have stated to the groups and to you also the composition of this product in previous posts. If you want the exact chemical composition including MSDS sheets of this product I will be more than happy to provide them and I am sure you will do the same -----Original Message----- From: Tom Warner [mailto:warbucks@...] Sent: Sunday, October 22, 2006 11:36 AM To: Stephen Birtles Subject: Re: [WanderlodgeForum] Re: FC Generator Compartment Walls Stephen we have talked about this before but you never explained to the group (or me) exactly what kind of composite you have, at least I dont remember that you did. These composites are not all the same and from my perspective it would be a shame for a forum member to install a composite only to find out they are not getting the noise suppression they wanted or they have spent the money for. In addition its a lot of work to do the doghouse and the generator compartment, been there done that on 2 coaches soon to be 3. If you want the highest attenuation you should use 2" thick 2# per square foot composite with lead separator on the dog house on the FC models and 1" thick 2# per sq foot in the generator compartment. The next best is 1# per sq foot composite with a lead separator and then vinyl separators are below those for attenuation. I believe that is what you sell. Point I am making is that forum members should know exactly what you are selling as far as the specifications. Then let them decide. I have no dog in this fight and do not intend to comment on what you are selling on the forum. Is that fair enough? I had a contract with soundown to buy their composite because I believe it is the best one on the market. http://www.soundown.com Since I am not interested in selling things to the BB community there is no reason you cannot sell their composites and other materials such as carpet underlayment to forum members. I would advise you to at least consider soundown. tom warner At 10:24 AM 10/22/2006, you wrote: >you forgot to mention Capeinnovation also has composite insulation but >thats okay > >Stephen 77fc35 > --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, Tom Warner > > I am going to make an exception because I believe this is so > important.
