I should add...If anyone if interested, I can provide pictures of the
replacement unit I made up.

valve was defective. That's the valve that has a long handle on it and works by
operating the dial from fill to drain. That valve gets calcium build-up just

is ok, check the hot water tank drain valve. It has the same effect as the
