Morning everyone:

On slow days, one tends to look at photos of places traveled, friends made,
Coach down times and up times along the routes followed.

Twas a chill crisp morning, coffee mug in hand, out of the robe and into
something warm, doing a walk around, just checking things in general.

Sun was on the rise to the East, it's rays splaying out over the landscape
and standing back away from the old gal, her side so sleek and shiny. The
rims reflecting like diamonds with the soft early rays of light. Her jacks
set and stable, the Lady brings a smile for she is ready for yet another
day. Her fluids checked and topped off, her electrical systems purring, yep
she is ready for her date. No quickie this one, but rather the elegance and
grace she portends, out there among them all. She is responsive, willing,
yet demure and demands attention of all whom espy her on the roads that
cross back and forth upon the Continent.

With the turn of a switch, she roars to life, the fluids coursing though
her various veins, one sits in the command chair just feeling the beat of
the heart. With a sight of satisfaction, the air breaks are slipped after
hearing her clear her throat, and slowly rolling forward at your command,
the hand hesitates over the play switch to her gentle musical repertoire
stored away. Early it is, so no song on this day, will mark her grace
fleeing from the perch of the night. Fresh coffee at hand, the furry people
in their usual place, trusting to your steady hand upon the wheel,
comfortable in their complete trust, and curious as to what will be in the
wind for them to sample with a sniff here and there. Putting the tires up
on the pavement, feeling the old gal wanting to run, a sip of coffee, then
a knowing smile, the finger presses that play button, itching, the wife's
eyes rolled up, knowing what is to come. Ahhh the sweet sound of the tune
being played, the chest filling to bursting with pride and another sip of
that morning elixir as the on ramp approaches. Her speed picking up, the
lights lighting the way for her grace and beauty, as she adorns the highway
stretching before her.

Yes, all is right with the world and all settles into the normal routine
out on that byway with the cruise set and feeling the old familiar pulse
come to life. Hard to get any better than this, one thinks. Thoughts going
to the next port of pulling in for the night, a wondering whom will share
the campfire this night. The tales told and shared with cups filled all
around, with the snap and flash of the cameras and adding new friends to
the album. The remembrances come flooding back in the blink of an eye and
happiness is obtained with a subtle sigh.

Here is hoping all here had a simply fantastic day, from your friends down
Oklahoma way.

Safe travels,

Ralph and Charolette Fullenwider
