Propane Outdoor Appliance Upgrade
I have set up a manifold system for the LP, that allows me to power 2
grills, an outdoor heater and fake campfire, all from the one coach LP outlet. Unregulated LP comes from the BB quick connect via a 6 ft hose to a manifold I lay on the ground. Based upon the LP appliances I have, I use two regulators on the manifold - one regulator works for the two grills and heater, the campfire required a different regulator. From regular 1, I have piped 3 quick connects, and from regulator 2, one quick connect of a different size. I use 20 foot extension hoses to reach the LP appliances wherever I place them. By having the one hose setup with different size ends (quick connects), I cannot connect the higher pressure LP from the one (campfire) regulator to the grills or heater. I use safety connections that do not allow the LP to escape from the hoses (20 ft of LP is a LOT) when disconnected, but I am also careful to shut off the LP at the coach and let the LP burn off at the appliances before disconnecting. I hope this helps. It is a bit hard to describe. I can take some pictures, but not until next week due to my schedule.
