40 weight oil
I've been using synthetic 15-40 oil in detroit's for 14 years now. I
would NEVER go back. I know a number of owner's that have made the
switch and all are pleased. A number of plus's to it, reduced oil
consumption, reduced smoke, plus the big advantage of extra engine
protection. I;ve talked to the Detroit tech's that go to the fmca
rally's and all agree there are big plus's to using the synthetic's.
They also agree that if you use a multi-weight oil, it MUST be a
synthetic. Work's for me...Bob 93pt Illinois
