Washington State Motor Home Weight Fee Alert

Yesterday the Washington State Senate passed bill 6103, which included
fees based on vehicle weight. The good news is that Wanderlodges will
not be subject to fees in the range of $350 to $650. The bad news is
that all motor homes will be subject to a flat weight fee of $75 per
year.

The Washington State House of Representatives must still pass their
version of this bill, and it must be signed be the Governor before it
becomes law.

The same bill includes a fuel tax increase that starts at 3 cents a
gallon and goes up 9.5 cents by 2008.
