80FC33 cruise control options
The magnets are available from NAPA. For a couple of dollars it is a
cheep test. I always wrap a nylon tie around them and do not just rely on the sticky backing. -----Original Message----- From: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com [mailto:WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of ernesttumbleston Sent: Thursday, April 21, 2005 10:03 AM To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] 80FC33 cruise control options Has anyone experimented with different options for the old vacuum type cruise controls on the older birds? Mine is missing the drive shaft magnets and I don't know if it works beyond that. I would like to replace it and have been informed of one type. Any other replacements out there worth investigation at a 'not to terrible' price? ALso if you have an old vacuum system or the magnet pickups or info on them, please let me know.....
