Thanks. By the way, My wife's name is Kathy also, so it seems that wives named Kathy like the solution, so it must be a winner. I like the idea of using relays so that the pumps don't fight each other. I have a similar relay logic system in my home. The garage and bedroom share the same supply side for the hot water heating system, so I built a relay logic system that gives the bedroom priority. A little boolean logic and some radio shack relays and you are in business.
