Wives and Coaches
Hello everyone:

I am recently back from a foray to the frozen North with expectations of
driving a Coach home for Charolette and I. I did not take the Coach, as it
had more problems than the owner knew about and in taking the Coach to a
dealer that has no idea what a Wanderlodge is much less what it is out
fitted with. So the add was based on a build sheet the dealer supplied the
Wife with, ergo, the Coach add was mis represented. This was not done as an
owner stating things on the Coach that were not there; ie; swing radiator,
rediline, no engine problems and on and on. Point is, the owner, whose
husband had passed away a short time ago, simply had no idea what was and
what was not. There was no malice in the mis representation, the wife did
not know!

Point of this post is, guys, don't make this mistake, you know what is in
your Coach, such as up dates, maint. records, options on the Coaches. I
implore you to sit down this winter and write up a list on your Coaches.
Heaven forbid, anything were to happen, like stepping off a curb and
getting hit, sudden health problem or being in a work accident or an
accident on the way to or from work. Give your spouses or SO's the tools
they need to work with in trying times. Most wives will probably not keep
the Coach around for several reasons, the main one being too many memories,
the second being, even just sitting plugged in they can be costly on a now
fixed income.

This trip cut into our Coach buying budget considerably only to find no joy
because the husband did not give the wife any idea of what she had or how
to deal with it.

So I implore you: Take the time, this winter, to do a write up on your
Coach and file it away in the blue box so as not to leave your wife
stranded. With this information, members on this or other Forum can help
her to set a fair price on the Coach, so she will not be taken to the
cleaners and help her move the Coach with some assurances that she is being
fairly dealt with. And be honest in the write ups list the things that need
to be done as well as the positives.

Safe travels,

Ralph and Charolette Fullenwider
