Wives and Coaches

GREAT POINT Ralph. A few months ago I was contacted by a daughter in
Mass. who saw a news paper article about the Myrtle Beach Rally,(not
sure how she saw it but she did) regarding her parents "camper" She
was trying to help her mother sell their "camper" as her father had
passed. Mom was struggleing with the "red camper" out in the barn
because it held so many memories. She did not have a clue or care to
all she wanted was it gone and to a nice person who will take care of
it and not get taken to the cleaners. I could not resist the story so
I started with the phone calls and questions. Motor in
back..ok...they thought late 80's etc you know the drill.

Low and behold when the pics arrived that is when the work started.
THEY KNEW NOTHING..Dad did all the maintenance. Turns out it was a
84FC and a nice one at that. It was very difficult to get correct
info..almost to a frustration level of "what am I doing this for"
but I did persue it because she was a very nice lady that needed some
help. Exactly as you describe above.

Some would/could have travelled by air, hotel bills, etc for a pusher
(as she said) when it was a FC and 5 years older than she thought.
Could be a recipe for bad feelings. No fault to her..her husband
handled everything, she just enjoyed it tremendously. Hmmmm sounds
like Judi, actually.

AS A MATTER OF FACT I CONTACTED A FORUM MEMBER HE WENT TO CHECK IT
OUT AND HE BOUGHT IT. It was difficult for all concerned while the
buyer "did his homework for the past year, comming to rallies etc" it
was still confusing for him. Wasn't it Larry!

But, you are sooo right a simple write up of the coach will help in
the situation you are describing. Escpecailly, when one party does
not really want to discuss the coach and the other wants to know all
that they can.
