Towing

Mark,
Toad weight is not that important.....we tow over 6k lb and don't
even notice it's there....The single largest factor in mileage is speed.
We noticed a marked increase in mileage when keeping our speed at 55 during
our last trip through the south...When we hit the high plains
heading for the desert, we jacked up the speed a bit and saw our mileage
plummet. The magic speed for us was 60. And Jeff, our bird does
a real nice and easy 85 at 2200 rpm.... which I don't do often. I can
thank the California Highway Patrol for doing an involuntary speedometer
check on our coach.... our speedo is dead on.
