generator weirdness

Diodes are simply an elecrtonic gate allowing
current to flow in only one direction. The P/N
bond within the diode is where the action is and
I don't believe time degrades this junction. The
biggest "killer" I have seen is voltage spikes
caused by inductive kicks of direct current
relay coils.
