checking air filters
Picked up my air filter indicator yesterday. Overpriced at $38 but still a good
way to keep track of the condition of the filter. It goes in the intake between the filter and turbo or filter and engine intake. It's basically a vacuum guage that shows highest vacuum pulled. It should help avoid the problem Julia had with a plugged filter. It comes in two versions. On is threaded and the other fits into a grommet that itself fits into an 11/16 hole drilled in the intake.
