Camp fire in the living room
Hey Ralph,
If it makes you feel any better, here in the Hill Country of Texas we haven't had power at our home since about 6am Tuesday morning - maybe today will be the day it returns! We have been iced in solid. Our little local town of Boerne became a parking lot for 18-wheelers as IH10 was closed. Just got back in to work at about 10am today (Thursday) for the first time since Monday night, after a neighbor helped move a downed tree in the driveway. Thanks to a wonderful neighborhood gestapo, er, ah, I mean homeowner's association, our Bird is about 5 miles away, safely tucked away in a shop with power, but we couldn't get there! On the positive side, the house never got below 53 or so inside! This is exactly why we don't live up north any longer, so it is definitely not a welcome event! ;^) Oh well, spring will be here soon.....
