Filterbarn.com...Very Impressive
I've been hearing about this place, but never heard of anyone
actually ordering from them so I took the chance on them. I ordered 66 filters and had them on my doorstep within 48 hours. Here is what I ordered for the FC. All filters are Fleetguard except the Allison spin-on, which is Baldwin. 3208 Lube LF3328 $3.47 3208 Fuel FF5320(2mic) $4.56 Racor 900ser. 10mic FS1207 $3.68 Perkins Fuel FF167 $1.91 P/S Filter P550487 $2.19(Donaldson) Perkins Lube LF3487 $1.74 Allison Spin-On BT230 $1.80(Baldwin) The cross-reference tool on the filterbarn site isn't very precise. I used Fleetguard or the Baldwin site for X-reference. The Racor filter is not a repackaged genuine Racor as is often the case. It has metal ends and a perforated cardboard type shell. For $3.68 I'll give it a try. I don't know what you guys are paying for your filters, but I was paying a lot more than these prices. Probably 2 of the 66 filters had greasy fingerprints on the cardboard box and probably 2 filters had a hole in the cellophane wrapper...other than that, they were perfect. Oh...free shipping over $75 and no tax 'less you live in WI. I've got no connection to this place except I'm a happy customer. David Hollis 84 FC35 Springfield,IL |
