Plumbing in a '95 BB
I found the Flair-It web site to work rather poorly ... but I was
successful in ordering what I needed from <http://www.pexconnection.com> Apparently, PEX plumbing isn't permitted in the California building code, so no one carries the tubing or related products locally. I realize that the gray tubing used in my coach is probably polybutylene -- a product that was manufactured from 1978 and discontinued in 1995 due to significant litigation over premature failures (in homes). The catalog from Pex Connection states that the Flair-It fittings were first developed to work with polybutylene and adapted to work with PEX. I appreciate your response and it was a considerable aid in my finding a source for the fittings so I can finish my pump replacement. Pete Masterson aeonix1@...
