Robert,
If I follow what you described and what you tested, you are good to go in the circuit breaker panel. Removing the little plastic thing and flipping the breakers independently...tuning off the breakers should turn off those items connected to it...all seems good. Amperage registered on one leg and not the other...depends on the coach load demand and how the coach is wired. Very possible one leg would be zero while the other has a power demand on it. The reading of 110 & 120 volts in each leg tells me the legs are receiving power. Our '87 coach does not have GFIs and perhaps yours does not as well. Do not take the gen/shore switch apart until we hear more from others perhaps more familiar with doing so and testing same. My only other suggestion at this time is to unplug the shore cord, start the gen., be sure the switch is set to gen., reset all the breakers in the 110V control panel, and see what happens.
