Just listed my bus on vintage birds
I believe that one was around 120 feet long. The center section that
is carrying the load itself, a turbine shaft in this photo, is 40
feet by itself, it is a 13 axle setup, but if you look further on my
old business web site there are some 18 and 19 axle setups over 200
feet long and the one with the extra truck pushing the load is
585,000 pounds gross.

The center sections of these trailers can be changed and were up to
65 feet by themselves, maybe longer now days, I haven't escorted a
load since my heart attack a few years ago. Now I just go slow in the
right lane in my 'Bird.
