Removing old vinyl trim
The vinyl trim on my '78 is way past end of life. Is there a
preferred method for removing it? I have a heat gun if that will work, but I don't want to damage the paint. I am looking into re-painting, but I don't have that on the imediate list, so I want to keep things looking as good as I can till then. The vinyl trim on the roof looks like dried cracked desert mud. The trim on the sides looks better since I used shoe polish to brighten it up. Another item I am looking for is the rubber insert for the trim arroud the headlight and grille area. The old stuff id dry and has shrunk a bit. Gardner 78FC33 |
