Removing old vinyl trim
Gardner You can get the rubber trim from most RV supplers
Don 89SP 36' Butler, PA In Zefphyrhills, FL

The vinyl trim on my '78 is way past end of life. Is there a
preferred method for removing it? I have a heat gun if that will work,
but I don't want to damage the paint. I am looking into re-painting,
but I don't have that on the imediate list, so I want to keep things
looking as good as I can till then. The vinyl trim on the roof looks
like dried cracked desert mud. The trim on the sides looks better
since I used shoe polish to brighten it up.

Another item I am looking for is the rubber insert for the trim
arroud the headlight and grille area. The old stuff id dry and has
shrunk a bit.
