Mystery Wires
On our way home from the Coushatta Rally I was doing a walkaround inspection and
noticed a wire hanging down to the ground back by the rear axle. All coach functions were normal so we kept driving on down the road. Got under the coach this afternoon and can see two wires that were cable tied and routed to the vicinity of the left rear wheels. Both look like they were connected at one time in the area of the left rear brake drums but are now disconnected. I can't see where they might have been connected without dismounting the two wheels. The end of one wire is grounded to the frame. The other wire goes forward but I could only trace it out to about halfway up the coach before it disappeared up into the body of the coach. Suspect they might have been abandoned leads for the speedometer but not sure. Don't see any other wiring in this vicinity that would have replaced it. No color coding on the wires. Anyone got a theory what function these wires have or might have had? Eric in San Antonio 84FC35SBWL2 |
