Speaking of cooling fans
If you figure out the volume of air that must be moved, the size of fan and
power requirements, it's much easier to install a Horton clutch and make sure every all components of the cooling system are in correct working order. The only time my fan comes on is in traffic, pulling a grade below 45mph. I assume that you have the electric clutch like our coach did. - Chuck Wheeler - 82 FC 31 SB Fort Worth, TX -----Original Message----- From: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com [mailto:WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Andy Clayton Sent: Tuesday, February 20, 2007 8:40 AM To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Speaking of cooling fans My fan clutch is out on my '82 FC and I was wondering if anyone out there has successfully used electric fans on the radiator. I haven't measured yet, but it looks like there would be room for two large fans on the back of the radiator if the original fan was removed.
