Carpet replacement question
Under the carpet and pad is 3/4 plywood over steel floor. The 6 inch carpet on
the side walls are covering steel. There is a plastic trim strip over the side boards and carpet. The whole project takes a lot of time. There are millions of staples the factory and maybe subsequent flooring installers used to adhere the carpet and pad. If you have had any water damage around your icemaker, you might have to install some new wood.
