Carpet replacement question
Having had a recent leak to my toilet (fresh water side thankfully),
this weekend I pulled the toilet out for repairs and in doing so removed the carpet to find the floor covered with linoleum. A few months ago I pulled the carpet off the face of my entry steps to find stainless steel. I'll not replace the carpet in these areas. I'm one that doesn't like the color of our carpet but it is of such good quality and in such great shape I can't bring myself to remove the rest of it yet, but then it's only 22 years old!
