Tooo much voltage!
About two years ago, my 82 35 FC began cooking my batteries with over
16 volts. I removed the alternator and regulator and the alternator shop bench tested both and found no problem. After reinstalling, still over 16 volts. I bought a programable Xantrex regulator and everything worked fine for two years, now nothing. I plugged the wiring to the origiinal regulator back in and the old problem is back, 16.1 volts. Any thoughts? Andy Clayton '82 35FC |
