ASME tanks like we have are exempt from inspection. Also the tank is purged
when the small valve is opened when filling. It is shut when a solid white
spray is emitted, the complete the fill. Also at sea level, our 48 gallon
tanks at 80% fill is only 39 gallons. That figure changes with cold and
altitude. If your in cold country and the tank level is down around 1/4,
the pressure is not going to be high enough to run 3 lp heaters. If you
find your having a problem in the snow or just plain cold, you can set a
drop light in the compartment to raise the boiling point of LP to increase
the pressure until you can fill.
