Found another problem, solved Retarder problem
Hi All,

The problem I have had with the retarder is directly related to the new
problem I have incurred... I did not notice it before, but the HWH pump
motor was running as soon as I put on the master leveler switch... This
when it was turned on would drop the voltage down to 11 volts on the
volt gauge, which in turn would not let the retarder work, due to too
low voltage for it to operate... was experimenting and when I turned on
the level master the retarder would not work, turn it off and in a few
seconds the alternator would recoup the voltage and the retarder would
work, hearing distinctive clicks from the control box...

Now, I am thinking the HWH pumps problem is the solenoids shorting
internally to keep the motor running when flipping the switch... What
do you all think??? Does it sound like the solenoids or do I look
somewhere else???

All suggestions appreciated...

TIA
Sea Ya
