Backup Camera Cables
If I were going out and buying cable for this, I would recommend an
RG-6 also, but since he has the RG-62 already, the run is under 50- feet and he can pre-test it before installing it, I don't see any problem with trying it. Worst case, it doesn't work and he has to go buy some RG-59/6. I have some extra RG-6 at home, I just ran two runs to the roof for a satellite dish connection. Let me know if you need any.
