Interesting rain water leak found
Ralph,

The windows separate pretty easily. I loosened the screws around the frame
slid caulking tape between the window and body and retightened. I cleaned
up the caulking that squeezed out and have hot had a problem since.

A method I have used to find elusive leaks is to pressurize the body with a
fan from on of the "Jump houses" and then going over the suspected area with
soap. That's how I found the leak where water was entering around a horn
mount. Where it was coming out was no where near where it was entering.

Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Interesting rain water leak found

Good morning everyone:

Seems like every time it rained, there would be a small puddle of water on
the rubber mat under the drivers foot area. Following the path left when
dried, I could not really pin point any obvious area.

During a recent rain, coffee cup in hand and flash light in the other, I
waited. When the first drops showed up I found they were coming from behind
the wall panel behind the shifter. Got into the overhead and it was dry, so
I removed the window casing to the front of the drivers window and sure
enough there was water. Interesting part is where it was coming from. The
rain water would cascade down the glass of the window, by pass the gasket
in the glass frame go under the bottom edge of the glass and back up to
the inside of the glass frame then into the track. It then ran to the drain
slot in the frame and down behind the panel. I sat back, took a sip of
coffee, shook my head and thought, "who woulda thunk that one."

I am thinking about finding a hypodermic, filling it with clear silicone
and insert it below the gasket to seal it. Any other ideas?

Safe travels,
