Tom,
We had our Newell listed for most of 2 years and kept coming down in price
until we got a buyer. Careful detailing and detailed pictures really
help..including the engine compartment, generator and extra storage. The
other thing I noticed in ads when I was shopping..placemats and dinner
service on the dinette are fine, but other personal items such as family
pictures, throws, bath towels and mats were not very attractive. It's best
if the coach looks ready to move into.
Buddy Gregg in Knoxville had a 2000 LXi but nothing older. If you put your
name on their list, they might call you when they get something close. And
the dealer I last used, Mr Oliver's in Princeton (NE of Dallas) sometimes
gets coaches of that vintage. He does consignments, too. Right now, all he
has is an 88-PT40 but it's clean. I've walked through a few 96 and 97
coaches that were very impressive. Good luck.
