to sell a Bird....
Tom,
We had our Newell listed for most of 2 years and kept coming down in price until we got a buyer. Careful detailing and detailed pictures really help..including the engine compartment, generator and extra storage. The other thing I noticed in ads when I was shopping..placemats and dinner service on the dinette are fine, but other personal items such as family pictures, throws, bath towels and mats were not very attractive. It's best if the coach looks ready to move into. Buddy Gregg in Knoxville had a 2000 LXi but nothing older. If you put your name on their list, they might call you when they get something close. And the dealer I last used, Mr Oliver's in Princeton (NE of Dallas) sometimes gets coaches of that vintage. He does consignments, too. Right now, all he has is an 88-PT40 but it's clean. I've walked through a few 96 and 97 coaches that were very impressive. Good luck.
