88 FC swing rad NOT???
Bruce,
Shave all the hair off your chest, have someone
do the same to your back, grease up and you may
slide right in there. LOL

No Kidding, it's a little swinger, maybe hasn't
reached the age of puberty, I think I measured
somthing like 14" metal to metal at total swing.

The top, drivers side has to be loose, or, as in
the case of mine, have a long flexibe top hose that
goes to the passenger side then back, I don't like
it that way but it worked. I did fashion a shelf so
the hose would not rub against the belts (mine had
started to cut into this hose.)

I believe I was told this was removed from within
the doghouse, a heck of a job but doable. Worst
case for the time being would be cutting it in
two then figuring out how to replace with a new
hose.

The full swing is limited by the welded piece that
acts as a lower hinge support hitting the charge
air cooler.

I am a big feller and I could only work one-handed
once I could slide inside. Remove the shroud at the
four corners, then take the fan blade off to give
you some room.

Bill Pape or someone else may explain how to or give
you some hint on how to do this.
